PLEASE TAKE TIME TO READ THE COMPLETE LISTING ALL THE WAY THROUGH MOST OF YOUR QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED! Dug is a 7-8 week old male puppy. His mom is a 15 lbs Dachshund/ Terrier mix and we do NOT know what the dad was. Dug will be neutered, have age appropriate vaccines and be micro-chipped before going to his new home. He is a very young puppy so his family needs to be dedicated to house and crate training. Dug would do best in a home with another canine companion. His adoption fee is $95.00 and he will be ready to go his new home the weekend of May 14th. He will need a fenced yard for protection while outside. TO MEET ONE OF OUR DOGS AND POSSIBLY ADOPT, YOU MUST FILL OUT THIS FORM SO IT CAN BE SENT TO THE FOSTER. ::https://cimarronvalleyhumanesociety.wordpress.com/adoption-application/ or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Most of our dogs are being fostered in Stillwater Ok. We do adopt out of state but we do not ship animals, If you want to adopt one of our animals, you must come to pick them up in Oklahoma. If you see an animal and it doesn't say pending adoption at the first of their bio, they are still available unless adopted that day! Our listing is updated multiple times a day. Most of our dogs are fostered in Stillwater Ok. (Less)

Border Terrier Dogs can make good pets in Oklahoma if they match your IifestyIe. Border Terriers are spunky, lively little dogs. They are eager to please and very friendly. Border Terriers get along with children, other dogs, and will do okay with cats if they are raised alongside them from the time they are puppies. Border Terriers cannot be trusted with other small animals or unfamiliar cats. Border Terriers need a lot of attention and should not be left alone for long periods of time. If they need to be left alone during the day, it is helpful to have two Border Terriers, especially if one is male and one female. Fences should be reinforced at the base because Border Terriers are enthusiastic diggers. Border Terriers do fine living in an apartment or somewhere with a small yard, as long as they get enough exercise.
